Always make sure that you compile and link libsnert with the same version of BerkeleyDB that your sendmail binary is linked with. Otherwise you will experience access.db errors (it fails to open).

σύμφωνα με τις δηλώσεις του αναπληρωτή υπουργού Εσωτερικών κ. Μαρκογιαννάκη ότι “για την αντιμετώπιση του σύγχρονου εγκλήματος είναι αναγκαία η χρήση καμερών βάσει της ευρωπαϊκής εμπειρίας όπως συμβαίνει και σε άλλες χώρες”.
Οι κάμερες στην καλύτερη περίπτωση θα βοηθήσουν να βρεθεί αυτός που διέπραξε κάτι. Οι πολίτες οφείλουμε να αποφασίσουμε τι μας ενδιαφέρει περισσότερο:
– Να βρεθεί ο κλέφτης ή να μην μας κλέψουν;
Εγώ προτιμάω να γίνονται επενδύσεις ώστε να μην εγκληματούν εις βάρος μου (παιδεία και ανεργία κανείς;). Η κάμερα δεν είναι αποτρεπτική επένδυση, επικουρικός μηχανισμός στη διαπίστωση της πράξης είναι. Η εμπειρία από τα γήπεδα θα έπρεπε να μας έχει διδάξει σχετικά.

Earlier today the Greek IPv6 Task Force held a meeting. Among other things discussed, there was the perception that there has not yet appeared the “killer application” that will make us abandon IPv4 and switch to IPv6. I have been messing with IPv6 on and off for the last 10+ years and I keep hearing this, when it is evident that the killer application already exists:
IPv4 address space shortage!
This is the killer application and this need will drive the change. IPv6 brings along a ton of nice things, but none of them can make us switch. For if it did, we would already have switched.
Interesting to observe how sometimes the tech jargon evolves: For years I would tell (or SMS text) friends and colleagues “check your email” whenever there was need to check their email faster than they normally do. Lately I find myself replacing the phrase with “check your gmail”.
