Given my opinion for Book 1, I gave considerable effort to even begin reading Book 2. The first half is equally boring, while the second half is indeed interesting, provided you have not been bored to death with a few peripheral story arcs that if they contribute to the main storyline, they could consume far less chapters.
I really hope for a better “Winds of Winter“.
