Sun Tzu and the OODA Loop

Sun Tzu said:

He who can modify his tactics in relation to his opponent and thereby succeed in winning, may be called a heaven- born captain.

Which is much like what Boyd said some thousand years later about “getting inside” the opponent’s OODA Loop.

  1. He who can tactically attack his null beliefs, can better serve himself and those around him, by becoming a una-verse far beyond his own “self”…

  2. Much like a Bacteria or Virus acts.

In bacterial growth (batch or animal-human body) the phase is called “lag” phase. It’s when the bacteria try to “observe and adapt”.

A virus might even choose to stay inactive as long as the conditions remain unfavorable. That’s why we have HIV carriers that are healthy. The virus is there but has decided that this immune system is going to be a tough one and stays ‘down’.
